GameJs is one year old. This is release 2011-01.
A useful part of the PyGame functionality - lower level graphics, sound and collision detection - is now provided by GameJs.
We will shake out the bugs and clean up what was built so far. Don’t expect new concepts appearing in the API anytime soon. The primary goal of GameJs is to mirror what PyGame provides. Packages outside of GameJs can provide abstractions that are not so closely related to “graphics and sound output”.
There are still parts missing when compared to PyGame (nothing I miss desperately). And from the additional modules only the ones dealing with server-side integration are likely to stay.
